End of April / beginning of May 2020, middle (or beginning, probably not end) of the pandemic. An old idea came back to me. I don't know if it's good, but since it's coming back I'll try to realise it. The moment is favorable.

It will be a work journal. Record the next steps on the way from a blank sheet to the finished score with elements of what appears in the field of view while writing a piece. Perhaps more pieces.

I imagine it as a kind of trip log-book. Purpose, course, weather and the most important events. No narration; the dramaturgy can be imagined.

What for?

To outline the context of the work's creation, its history; capture something that flies away after finishing work, and sometimes it's a pity.

Perhaps as a substitute for a common base of meanings understood universally by broadcasters and recipients that have been lost somewhere. For personal use, without ambition to save the world.

Maybe instead of a program note.

We'll see.

I assume entries every Sunday - summarizing the week.

I do not anticipate dialogue with prospective readers, not in the middle of writing anyway.

I send reports, feedback is impossible.
