I've always been attracted, oh Nation, to women. But I was a bit envious of their handbags and dresses. Rings and earrings. Hair. And some of them I was afraid of. I felt their advantage. And I didn't shout it down. I didn't compete, I didn't fight. I cheered for others. I didn't see the value in strength or the dignity in power. I assumed that it is what it is, and what will be, will be. I came off as a fool and I accepted that.

Don't be mad.
