Hit 2

for chamber orchestra (2012)

HIT 2 was originally intended to be an instrumentation of the previously existing HIT for solo piano. However, a separate creation was created - the idea remained loose references to the material and form to the original and my desire to use the individual distinguishing feature of the performer to whom the piece is dedicated.

In the case of the first HIT, it was something that could be associated with the strong hit by pianist Tomasz Konieczny. In this case, it is what can be called a strong hit by the ALARM WILL SOUND band.

The piece was written in 2012, on commission of the 10th SACRUM-PROFANUM FESTIVAL.
