When my paternal grandmother passed away, it was the first time I realized that matters concerning me, even serious ones, are not your affairs, Nation. To my surprise, no one outside my family knew about the death of Grandma Agnieszka. Nor did anyone particularly care when I tried to talk about it. A few days passed, the funeral took place, which almost no one knew about, and that was it. It shook me. It was hard for me to come to terms with the fact that I am not the main character in this play in which we all participate.

Honestly, it still is difficult.
